Let’s face it, I’m a people-pleaser.
I love to be needed. I love to share and put a smile on other peoples’ faces, to make them feel warm, welcomed, and loved.
I am a regular mom of two, obviously (to me), advanced and prodigious, but somehow perfectly imperfect, normal young children. I am the wife of an extremely dedicated and hard-working, industrious, loving and loyal husband who sometimes, undeserving, bears the brunt of my moods. I am a teacher, taking the year off due to COVID, missing my students and my co-workers, but loving watching my own children learn and grow and getting to spend time with them at home. I love traveling, art, reading, learning, food, wine, music, and spending time with my friends and family.
Really, I’m still figuring out who I am but it’s okay. I think it changes all the time anyways. I’m complicated, and at the heart of it, I’m a work in progress. I think that is what makes me relatable. Within these blog posts, if someone can find something I’ve done, learned, conquered, or created useful then I will have helped, in whatever small way I could. And that’s all I’m after.
